Visa-Free Entry Requirements

- A passport with a minimum validity of 6 (six) months.
- A return ticket or a connecting ticket for onward travel to another country.
Furthermore, international visitors are granted a 30-day stay in Indonesia, and this allowance cannot be prolonged beyond the stipulated period. It is crucial to emphasize that those benefiting from visa exemptions are strictly forbidden from participating in any employment-related activities during their stay. Additionally, they are ineligible to submit an onshore visa application while present in Indonesia.
Visa for Countries Outside the List
The visa requirements for entering Bali depend on your nationality, length of stay, and purpose of visit. According to the official websites, there are three main types of visa, one of them is Visa-Free Entry we talked above, the rest for Bali are:
- Visa on arrival (VoA): This is available for citizens of 90+ countries who visit Bali for tourism, business, or official purposes for up to 30 days. They can apply for a VoA at the airport or the harbor in Bali for a fee of 500,000 Indonesian rupiah. The VoA can be extended once for another 30 days at the immigration office.
- B211A Visit Visa: This is required for citizens of other countries or those who want to stay longer than 60 days in Bali. They must apply for this visa before arrival through the Indonesian immigration website or a sponsor. The B211A visa is valid for 60 days and can be extended twice for 60 days each.
List Of Countries Eligible for VoA
Visa On Arrival (VOA) is granted to foreign nationals from a country, the government of a special administrative region of a country, and specific entities exempted under the regulations for a Special Tourist Visit Visa upon Arrival to reside in the Indonesian territory. It is provided for a maximum period of 30 (thirty) days, extendable once for an additional 30 (thirty) days at the Immigration Office within the jurisdiction covering the foreigner’s residence, and cannot be changed in status.
